Evangelical Christians believe that the Bible, and the Bible alone, is the only infallible source of truth. Because the Bible is the Word of God, it is completely authoritative. And because the Bible announces to us the gospel, it is the only way for us to know how to be saved. But the Bible also prepares the believer for every good work that flows from the gospel message.
