The Promise of Rest Still Stands

Scripture: Hebrews 4:1–8

God wants us to experience the rest that he enjoyed at the conclusion of creation. This rest is offered in the gospel, but it can only be received by faith. Far from being a work that we contribute to the gospel, faith is the only way we can stop our working and rest in the enjoyment of what God has accomplished for us.
