By taking on a human nature, Jesus became a brother to us and able to bring us into the fullness of our own humanity. By taking on a human body, Jesus was able to die and to disarm the devil of his greatest weapon he wields against us. And by taking on the human experience, Jesus is able to help us with the temptations to sin that we must endure.
