Ezekiel made seven prophecies against Egypt, predicting the nation's fall to Babylon. The end of Egypt would be cataclysmic for the global order, but would also signal the beginning of Israel's newfound hope. A new kingdom would begin to grow for Israel, a kingdom that God's people could always trust and could always turn to for aid.
