Christian Ambition

Toward the end of the letter to the Romans, Paul makes it clear that he hopes the Christians there will help him take the gospel further west into Spain. He sees the church in Rome as essential to the next phase of his mission, and he wants them to share in his goal of making Christ more widely known. Although Paul had a unique calling as an apostle, he demonstrates the ambition all Christians who believe the gospel ought to share for the reality of the kingdom of God.
