God intends for the genuine love that Christians pursue with one another to overflow to the unbelieving world around them. With minds renewed by the mercies of God, Christians bring blessings instead of curses to those who persecute them and plot for peace rather than revenge when evil is done to them. Knowing that God alone is able to bring about absolute justice, Christians concentrate on employing good to overcome evil and resisting the seduction of evil's destructive power.
