In the coming of Israel's Messiah, the old covenant established under Moses has now reached its intended end. The evidence of membership in the new covenant is submission to Christ's lordship even as it is proclaimed all over the world. Though many will continue to resist the message, the love and mercy of God in the gospel will leave them with no other excuse.
