Scripture: Zephaniah 1:1–6

God promised and ultimately brought judgment on Judah in the exile. This foreshadowed Jesus’s judgment of Israel and the nations in his life, death, resurrection, and ascension. He is coming again soon to judge the whole world finally and completely. We can be saved from judgment through repentance and faith in his penal substitutionary death.
