The stories in the Bible of those who lived by faith should inspire us to do the same. We recognize that our lives as Christians are part of the same story as we pursue the same goal as our spiritual ancestors. But now, living on the other side of the cross, we possess the great privilege of seeing more clearly what that goal is as we keep our eyes on Jesus, the supreme example of living by faith.
