The Christian faith is centered on the death and resurrection of Jesus. More than historical facts, these events also become the basis for how the Christian is to view himself in the world. With Christ we have died to the forces that determine everything about our existence apart from him. Now with Christ we have been raised to live by an entirely different standard than what may be found in this life.
