The preacher of Hebrews contrasts Old Testament prophecy about the Son of God with what is revealed about the angelic host. He wants his audience to see that Jesus is in every way superior to the angels. His superiority is most clearly seen, however, in the way that Jesus came to be exalted to the place he occupies now and will occupy forever.
