The salvation of God is the beginning and the end of the Christian life. Once God has rescued us, he at once gives us a purpose for living as he begins to sanctify us with his presence and transform us into a people who reflect his holy character. Sacrifice is the divinely appointed means for this as God shows us both our need for his provision as well as the privilege of living in his presence.
