God desires for his people to prosper and flourish and has given them instruction for how to live in this way. He has given them a choice to either follow his lead and live or to rebel against him and perish. He urges us to always choose life so that not only can we enjoy the blessing of God, but so that this blessing can also be enjoyed by the generations that come after us.
