The Spirit of Gentleness

The eighth in the list of the fruit of the Spirit is gentleness. It is an important characteristic for Christians to pursue because of its ability to help other Christians keep in step with the Spirit. When the Holy Spirit produces gentleness in us, we are able to identify with sinners rather than judge them, and we're able to lighten their burden of sin rather than ignoring their plight. By considering the gentleness that Jesus has shown to us, we will be able to accomplish good for everyone, and especially for other Christians.
