Genesis Part 2: Abraham and the Blessing of Living by Faith

The story of Abraham (Genesis 11:27-25:11) begins the transition from primeval history to the stories of Israel’s Patriarchs. As God plans to save his creation, he calls Abraham to trust him, to live a life of faith. As we trace through Abraham’s story, we discover what it means to live by faith, and why God requires this from all his people. Those who live by faith will find God to be faithful and will certainly enjoy the blessings of God’s own faithfulness to his promises.
