The resurrection of Jesus is the sine qua non of the apostles’ preaching in the book of Acts. What effect did the preaching of a resurrected Messiah have on people? From Paul’s ministry in Thessalonica and Berea we see how the gospel will be misunderstood. But we also see that the gospel changes everything, and we are encouraged to find faith to believe it in a careful study of the Scriptures.
