Missional Families

It is important to distinguish between who the church is and where and when the church meets. At Crosstown we firmly believe that church is not the place we gather or an event we attend. We are the church every day of the week as we live our lives together as Missional Families. If you want to discover what Crosstown is really like, then you need to spend some time with a Missional Family. Our Families are based more or less geographically and include singles, couples, and families.

Missional Families revolve around two things: Family – who we are in Christ; and Mission – what Jesus sent us to do. We are reorienting our normal, everyday lives around these two concepts. We are trying to live our ordinary lives with gospel intentionality.

We eat together, play together, work through God’s Story together, serve together, and celebrate together. There is not necessarily a set time that Families gather, although we do encourage them to eat a meal together at least once a week. If you would like to learn more or you are interested in connecting with a Missional Family email Pastor Clint.

Community Gatherings

Crosstown Church gathers together every Sunday morning to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus through the ministry of the Word and Communion.

We currently meet in two locations, so be sure to check the date before you attend.

On June 13, 20, 27 and July 4 we will meet at 10:15 a.m. in room 215 at the First Baptist Church of Oklahoma City. Enter on the north side of the building, underneath the carport. Take the elevator to the 2nd floor and find us in room 215.

Regardless of which roof we're under, our purpose remains to love and honor Jesus.

On July 11 we will meet at 10:30 a.m. at the Midtown YMCA. We are directly across the street from St. Anthony's Hospital and above Irma's and Prairie Thunder Baking Company.

We provide childcare for children, infants through kindergarten. All other children are encouraged to join us for the gathering.
